Know A Bit More About Me – I’ve Been Tagged
Kleio has tagged me in the blog meme called Top Five Movies. Hehe.. I don’t really remember movies that I’ve watched, but there are definitely a few hard-to-forget titles la.
I’m not a movie fanatic person. This meme poses a challenge to me, to really think hard for my favourite movies out of the not-yet-forgotten list hehe. It’s something good for you to know a little bit more about me also, since I seldom blog about my life and thoughts :)
OK, this is my list without chronological order.
The Incredibles

I always love watching animated films hehe. I like to see cute characters, I like to see some witty and yet exaggerated actions. The Incredibles is undeniably one of the animated films that I love the most. I still remember the cinema was filled with much laughter from audiences when The Incredibles was screened. The ten-year-old Dash who has incredible speed is my favourite character in this movie.
Lord of the Rings (LOTR)

I believe LOTR doesn’t need any description. Even if you have not watched it, but I’m sure you know what a hype it was. I love this movie, not simply for its hype of course, but the interesting story line coupled with amazing visual effects and environment settings. LOTR is a high fantasy novel authored by Tolkien, first published far back in 1950’s.
The visual effect technologies employed into LOTR film making has made the movie industry rethinking about the possibility in visual experience. Of all the 3 episodes of LOTR films, The Two Towers is the one I love the most.
A lot girls and ladies can’t help themselves but keep wowing at Legolas, casted by Orlando Bloom.
Matrix

Another series film of fantasy story that I truly enjoy. Matrix Trilogy which composes of The Matrix, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions, has introduced a whole new world – Zion, which doesn’t exist in reality. The streaming downward-flowing green characters which represents Matrix, has then became extremely popular in graphic design. PC screensaver emulated with the streaming green code is an eye candy, simply ‘cos it looks cool.
Rob-B-Hood

Rob-B-Hood, ya the movie starring cute baby - Matthew Medvedev. I love the baby featured in the film. The baby is sooooooo distinctively cute, adorable, and of course good looking as well la hehe. Jacky Chan’s movie is never missing with actions; but, recently he has blended well the action factors with some interesting story lines.
Still remember I posted a picture of my idol before? ;) hehe
Pirates of the Caribbean

Captain Jack Sparrow, Black Pearl, Davvy Jones, Flying Dutchman… What do they have in common? Pirates of the Carribbean lo
Personally, I prefer Pirates of the Carribbean || - Dead Man’s Chest. I actually watched it in cinema for twice!
FYI, Chow Yun Fat is casting in the next episode, At Worlds End, as Captain Sao Feng.
OK, now that I’ve completed my task for top five movies haha. But, I’m itchy hand, and would like to continue writing a little bit more.
Heroes

I’m currently addicted to a NBC drama, titled Heroes. I was influenced by my colleagues to start watching this drama before the first season is completely available. Now, only 11 episodes, half of the first season, are available in my hard disk. I’ve finished watching, and now stuck in the middle of nowhere thirsting for the continuation.
The series tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realize they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind.
I like the Japanese character, Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, who possesses the ability to teleport and manipulate the time-space continuum. Hiro Nakamura even has a blog! Due to the extreme popularity of Hiro Nakamura’s character, Mas Oka was also nominated for Golden Globe award.
Seriously, you must watch this series. It’s superbly interesting and addictive hehe!
I Continue Tagging
OK. Now my turn to spread the poison… hahaha.
I hereby, official declare to award this honor to Jason Lioh, Grace Koh, and Shalyn (mind you, she can write a lot with impressive command of English). Don't blame me for escalating the tag to you hehe, I'm doing it for your benefit. It "helps to propel your blog rank up on search engines" and gives you something to write :p

Yay! great job. I noticed most of your choices involved lots of CGI magic. So you are a fan of sci-fi and fantasy eh. I love em too.
I've checked out that Hiro Nakamura character (thanks for the link) and found him to be very interesting. Oh, I can't wait for the show to reach here. Hmmm.. maybe, I go get it from the store once it is out. I love super power beings. That's why I am a sworn fan of Smallville, Charmed and now Supernatural.
